GMI’s Construction Director, Martin Watson, says safety remains the utmost priority to our business as he held a series of Building Safety Act 2022 seminars.

Martin, working alongside colleagues from Learning and Development, hosted a double-header of seminars in Leeds that brought together industry professionals to explore the latest insights and advancements in building safety.

In the dynamic world of architecture and construction, building safety regulations serve as the cornerstone for creating structures that are not only aesthetically appealing but also safe and resilient.

This seminar highlighted the significance of adhering to safety regulations and sheds light on how GMI is empowering professionals and employees to build a safer future, not just for GMI but for the entire industry.

He said: “Safety is absolutely paramount in our business. Adhering to safety regulations and being compliant within the new legislation is so important for GMI.

“Ensuring the well-being of occupants, mitigating risks, and fostering trust in the industry has never been more important. By prioritising safety, we construct not just buildings, but also peace of mind and a brighter future for all.”
