Our collaboration with long-time customer Muse Developments to build a 12,000 sq. ft office for the Department of Work and Pensions, underlines this.
Valued at £3.2m, this project further demonstrates GMI’s intentions to bolster a strong presence in the North East, and is part of a wider regeneration project in South Shields town centre. Building for Frameworks is something for the now as well as the future as theirs is no doubt we can build an office. Not just an office, though, a #BuiltByGMI office. Done with care, precision and attention – both on time and on budget.
Working with leading architect The Harris Partnership, this sleek new purpose-built construction on Mile End Road will replace the previous Job Centre Plus located on Barrington Street.
It marks the first time that GMI and the DWP have worked together, further complimenting the company’s diverse portfolio of constructions across the country. We’re looking forward to seeing the relationship with the Government go from strength-to-strength, with more builds of this kind in the very much in the pipeline.
