David Perks

David Perks, who has more than 40 years’ experience in the construction industry and more than 30 as a chartered health and safety professional, joined GMI in 2021 as Head of SHE, having previously worked with a range of tier one contractors, including John Sisk and BAM.

David has a wealth of health and safety experience and a great track record of delivery – which is why GMI recruited him to our board, to ensure it remains our number one priority.

GMI has set up a new SHE team, which David heads up, with him directing the safety culture of our business.
