Licence to thrill at James Cond

Whisper it quietly but James Cond has a licence to be thrilled this week as our site team produced a deadly score during a Considerate Constructors Scheme visit.

Jaws were dropped by the local monitor as GMI hit the Casino Royale jackpot with a 45/45 score on the site’s first inspection.

It was points galore for the team, to the delight of GMI’s very own Daniel Craig, Project Manager, Graham Ashberry.

He said: “I must be dreaming! To get a score like this on a first monitoring visit is some achievement for the site team and GMI as business.

”We are really proud of what’s going on here at James Cond.”

Claire Preston, GMI’s Head of Responsible Business, added: “We have struck gold on this scheme and that’s down to collaborative working. Nick Turner, RB Business Partner right down to the whole site team. We are getting this right each and every time.”

We can’t wait for the next visit as we shake and stir things up further on the way to another 100% score.

GMI hwon the brief from University College Birmingham to develop its new £10 million skills centre last year.

The project will see the renovation of the former James Cond print works building in Charlotte Street to create a new base in which to teach UCB’s intake of construction students in 2023.
